Winner Annual East Anglian Federation Exhibition, 2004, slides. Ron Tear.

The annual exhibition that is held by the East Anglian Federation is open to all members of the 100+ photo clubs within the federation.It is well subscribed with individuals entering up to twelve images,(4 mono,4 colour prints, and 4 slides.)These are then judged by 6 acclaimed judges,(3prints,3slides).A certain number of prints and slides are to represent the EAF at the UK federations competition.The exhibition itself was held in Harlow for the first time in the new Gibbered Gallery, Harlow Civic Centre.It has been there since.I entered 4 slides, 2 accepted, one being the Best slide of the exhibition.An image taken in Finland in -32 on a tripod,using Velvia film and a long exsposure.The moon was setting as this was about 9am in December, daylight arrives at 10am at this time of year. With only 4hrs of light it makes you work fast.The judges for this event were Les Ayres,ARPS,AFIAP,MPAGB,APAGB, Andy Callow, Sue Moore,FRPS,.Maggie picked up a selectors award for her image of a Burchells Zebra.We both had a good year!.
