Life lines Wyn

A portrait of my mother, Wyn, 94 when I took the photo. I had not taken any portraits before but wanted to take some photos before she lost her health and vitality. She sat by the window as the afternoon winter sun streamed through. Elderly people have wonderful faces to take, capturing the lines and features that have changed with the increasing years. My mum isn't keen on the image, as she feels she has too many lines and wrinkles but it is one I will cherish.
